Great program yesterday with guest District Attorney Meg Heap. We discussed the dreadful July 5th City Market incident on the very day the Savannah Morning News headline reported the lone surviving perpetrator’s indictment for murder, along with numerous other charges. We also talked about the Youth Intercept program which Heap champions as a means to divert at-risk youth onto a better path, other early intervention tactics, and the strategies necessary to most successfully navigate the jurisprudence process as it plays out in the courtrooms. I believe Savannah & Chatham County have a passionate and effective law and order leader representing our best interests in the legal arena.
