selection of music will be highly eclectic, focusing on local acts, along with
songs from all eras and regions of the world, past and present. In addition to
music, other forms of media will be considered. Each show may follow a specific
theme, genre, or era.
The talk and
interview portions of the show will be drawn from local and touring musical
acts, artists, advocates, activists, and any other people who offer interesting
stories or perspectives to share. Savannah consistently offers a well of
fascinating events and happenings which receive little to no attention in
popular media. This show will address these issues in order to spur
conversation and action within the local community which is lacking.
John Paul Park is a
SCAD graduate student and resident of Savannah for the past three years.
He works with Savannah residents
who have been affected by travel bans and other recent immigration
policies. He is connected with various movements within
the community, including the DIY scene, LGBT scene, Food Not Bombs, and
political and humanitarian activist groups. He’s been consistently shocked and
disappointed with how these parts of the community don’t receive the attention
they deserve while more frivolous matters are addressed within our news and
