On Evening Eclectic this Sunday from 10-midnight EDT, I am celebrating music from the Savory Collection at the National Jazz Museum in Harlem.  This is a collection of hundreds of live concert recordings from the 1930-1950s of classic jazz.  I was introduced to it by my guest last week Loren Schoenberg who is a senior scholar at the Museum.  We will be featuring music by Lionel Hampton, Fats Waller, Coleman Hawkins, Lester Young, Benny Carter, John Kerby Sextet, Jack Teagarden and many more. Evening Eclectic 10-midnight EDT this Sunday on WRUU-LP Savannah, 107.5 FM and wruu.org.
