Tonight on Contemporary Classics during the first hour, I am talking with cellist Miriam K. Smith who has just released her fourth commercial recording featuring a performance of Zoltan Kodaly’s Sonata for Solo Cello in B minor, Op. 8 which was released on Azica Records in January.
And then the second hour will feature a conversation with composer Peter Boyer and pianist Jeffrey Biegel about their new album featuring Peter Boyer’s Rhapsody in Red, White and Blue which was released on Naxos Recordings in February.
