On June 2, Voices of Reason petitioned the government on the airwave Trump asking for a redress of our grievances, as is our right under the first Amendment to the USA Constitution.
Our list of grievances included the following:
- USA imperialism as fueled by capitalism and carried out via military and covert actions against people and places for land and resources
- USA special relationship with Israel that supports genocide and permits illegal influence in our electoral system
- the war against undocumented migrants in the USA via detainment and deportation without due process\
- the war against poor people, taking money away from programs that provide affordable housing, food insecurity, healthcare and more to fund wars of aggression
- the corporate takeover of the USA government
- allowing elected and appointed officials to use their positions for public grift
- enabling the election of the best candidates money buy
