A twofer today on Savannah Lexicon. First off, It’s time for the Flannery O’Connor Childhood Home Fall Lecture Series! The first one will be Sunday, September 16 – Father Patrick Samway will discuss Flannery’s relationships with her editors. Cody Shelley, Foundation Manager for Flannery O’Connor Childhood Home will be in to talk about this weekend’s lecture and the others scheduled for this fall season. In the second segment of the show, local author and Georgia Southern Armstrong Campus Instructor of English Nicole Rivas will join me. Rivas has a new contest-winning chapbook of flash fiction entitled “A Bright and Pleading Dagger.”
