Fri. 11 am ET- Novelty songs are kind of cute the first time you hear them and after that, not so much. That’s because they trade on being cute and unexpected, and they usually don’t have music worth listening to again. Except, some of them do. Some are pretty elaborate and some are accompanied by music that bears repeating. Some novelty songs weren’t even recognized as novelty songs. This week Brian Renner and P. T. Bridgeport explore novelty songs that go beyond the random snicker. We might even throw in a handshake buzzer or whoopee cushion just to keep the party going. Join us at 11:00 am, this coming Friday. 05/03/2019
