Thu. 8 am. Wayne continues his October election coverage with a candid conversation with Craig Gordon, who represents Georgia’s House of Representatives District 163. District 163 covers much of Savannah, including much of the Landmark Historic District, much of the southside, and a considerable bit of the east and west sides of the city. Rep. Gordon is unopposed in the Nov. 6 election, a fact that will likely allow him to be more candid in his assessment of the upcoming election than would otherwise be the case. 10/11/2018

We’re in love with Meredith’s photographic work, and we can’t wait to get the inside scoop on this exciting show. The program title comes from a beloved Unitarian-Universalist hymn, “Spirit of Life,” which includes the words, “Sing in my heart all the stirrings of compassion” and “Move in the hand, giving life the shape of justice.” 10/07/2018

Wed. 9 pm. This week on Savannah Music Local and Sustainable is Ashesh Dangol – if you can believe it a blues player from Nepal. I was introduced to him at the September’s Savannah Songwriters Series concert hosted by Tom Cooler. This is a must hear show as he is amazing player and interesting as well. 10/03/2018
Tue. 8 pm. This week on Contemporary Classics I continue to celebrate the music of Leonard Bernstein with my third show this year honoring the centenary of Bernstein’s birth. This week we have his Jeremiah, Symphony No. 1; Chichester Psalms for Chorus and Orchestra; Sonata for Clarinet and Piano; Missa brevis, Divertimento; La Bonne Cuisine (Four Recipes); and as many of the dance episodes from the Fancy Free Ballet that we can squeeze in. 10/02/2018
