He is also a talented composer and we talk about his work, his musical background and Roomful of Teeth. This will be followed by an hour of music featuring some of the performances we talked about during the interview including music by Luciano Berio, John Luther Adams. Tue. 8 pm. ET – This week on Contemporary Classics with Dave Lake, is a show dedicated to the Canadian composer Jocelyn Morlock. Jocelyn is an absolutely delightful conversationalist as well as composer so you will really enjoy this show. Dave was able to sit down with her at the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra offices in Vancouver BC, Canada during his visit to Vancouver – and also saw her at a couple of other events around Vancouver during his stay. 12/18/2018

This year’s modulus festival was from November 2-6 in Vancouver British Columbia Canada and featured several composers and 5 days of contemporary classical music including numerous Canadian and World premieres. I will be sharing some of the music that they performed along with music from a number of composers at the festival. 12/11/2018
