Sun. 9 pm ET-This Sunday on Evening Eclectic, April 7thfeatures a celebration of the Savannah Music Festival. I have an interview with choreographer Kate Weare whose dance company will be collaborating with Union Tanguera and composer/pianist Gustavo Beytelmann to present the dance program Sin Salida based upon a modern interpretation of the tango. In addition I have an interview with Robbie Fulks – one of my favorite folk/country performers who will be talking about his two appearances at the Savannah Music Festival: one with Jenny Scheinman and her music and film project “Kannapolis: A Moving Portrait” and his duet with Robbie Gjersoe. We will be playing music from Edmar Castaneda the harpist from Columbia – who was my big discovery of the festival. He was jazz musician and composer of film scores and classical music and conductor of 4 major symphony orchestras. He is one of the most eclectic musicians I know so, I feel I must honor him on Evening Eclectic this week. 03/03/2019

This is in celebration of the Piano in the Arts concert scheduled at the Armstrong Campus of Georgia Southern University.
