Evening Eclectic – Big Ears Music Festival -03/18/2018

Sunday March 18th from 10-midnight Evening Eclectic I will be at the Big Ears Music Festival and you will hear Sunday night this music from the Big Ears Music Festival in Knoxville TN from March 22-25.

So, what do American performers Meshell Ndegeocello, Nels Cline, David Hidalgo, and Steve Gunn have in common with Norwegian musicians Jaga Jazzist and Jenny Hval  and Brazilian Cyro Baptista?   Well they are performing this coming week at the Big Ears Music Festival in Knoxville TN.

You will also be hearing Godspeed You! Black Emperor, the Atlanta band Algiers, Arto Lindsay an American musician with a slightly Brazilian sound, bluegrass from Circus No. 9 and bluegrass-ish music from Black Twig Pickers, jazz from the Craig Taborn Trio and the Tyshawn Sorey trio, some sitar music from Anoushka Shankar, some mind-altering music from the legacy of Alice Coltrane and some unclassifiable R&B from Diamanda Galás.
