Mixtapes and Lava Lamps 02/02/2018

Fridays – 4 pm. NEW. Mixtapes and Lava Lamps. While Mix Tapes and Lava Lamps focuses on personality-driven musical content, the music will be underground or obscure new wave, dark wave, gothic rock, psychedelic rock, and post punk. Occasionally,  there will be some surf, garage, indie tune or a really pop driven punk song… that said, the sets will be totally unique.  And, expect and occasional curve ball tunes because they may fit the theme or motif for the show. An example this might be a deep Pink Floyd track or a track by some favorite guitar player who may be considered jazz, proto-metal or prog rock (John McLaughlin, Gabor Szabo, Toni Iommi). Just depends on the flow… but fear not, the program will rock.
