A group of young progressive politicos, Amanda Hollowell, Molly Lieberman, Moncello Stewart, Edy Gresham, and Coco Papy, called, “the Political Rascals,” were chosen out of 300 proposals to be 1 of 3 main features for a 3 day conference to be held in New Orleans, LA, Netroots. Netroots is a progressive political-activist convention of nearly 3,000 activists from across the globe. The Political Rascals were selected for the panel entitled, “Moving the Ball Forward in the Deep South: Why What! Works in Your Town, Don’t Work in Ours.” The Political Rascals will be live in the studio for the Verb Altitude Hour on, Saturday, June 16, 2018, from 6:00PM to 7:00PM on 107.5FM(or WRUU.org) to talk about their fundraising goal of $1,800.00 to attend the convention, who they are, and discuss more about the panel.
