Tue. & Thu. 8 am. On Savannah Lexicon, Marquice Williams, Co-director of Spitfire Poetry Group and coordinator of the Savannah Spoken Word Festival will be Wayne Water’s guests on Thurs. 4/26. The festival will continue through Sunday afternoon and the remaining highlights include a showcase event featuring award-winning poet Danez Smith Thursday night, the Grown Folks Poetry Slam Friday night, and a block party on Saturday.
